How Mistakes Are Counted
PSSSB’s own convention treats 5 characters as one word for both typing speed and error counting — a genuinely different, more forgiving method than the whole-word mistake rules SSC or AHC use. Gross speed (not reduced by mistakes) has to clear 30 WPM, and accuracy — checked completely separately — has to clear 92%. Both gates are independent; a fast but careless attempt can still fail on accuracy alone.
